This velcro fastening shoe is primarily for walking and incorporates the Asics Trusstic system, a moulded firm plastic component under the mid foot area. This provides stability, and in combination with the contoured DuoMax mid-sole, helps to control torsion within the sole unit.

The Asics gel sole system is based on a special silicone that enables optimal shock absorption. The gel unit is strategically placed in the heel portion of the mid-sole.

This shoe is shod in wet grip rubber, an out-sole made from a special blend of components, designed to enhance traction - even on a wet surface.

This shoe is best suited to customers with a need for a supportive "trainer" style shoe, but a shoe that is aesthetically acceptable for those who do not want a white sports shoe.

The Asics Gel Cardio has been designed to be safe to wear for walkers and runners with type I and type II diabetes.

To prevent the development of blisters or other foot problems the shoe incorporates a long vamp design, a firm insole board, and a soft sockliner with minimal stitching. The personal foam heel fit ensures a custom heel fit. The liner of the shoe is antibacterial.

This shoe is a wide fit.

The Asics Gel Cardio is only available in black with velcro fastening.

We would advise you order a shoe half a size larger than your usual shoe size to ensure adequate space for your toes. If you have had difficulty with width in trainers before then this shoe is for you.
